7 Turkish Bites

Milton

7 TURKISH BITES HAS CLOSED.

7 Turkish Bites is a colourful little eatery serving up huge plates of delicious authentic Turkish food at budget prices on Milton's Park Road dining precinct.

Chairs and tables are covered in bright patterned cloth, with seating available inside and on the covered terrace out front.

Everything is prepared from scratch and fresh on site, starting with the dips (eggplant, carrot, hummus, beetroot or spinach), which are served with Turkish bread, and the hot entrees (Turkish spring rolls,  falafel balls and zucchini puffs).

Next up there's a choice of salads (including tabouli, chicken or garden) and gozleme (spinach, chicken, minced lamb, cheese or vegetarian). For something more substantial, pide (Turkish pizza) is a must-try, with a wide variery of fillings including sliced lamb, roast potato, garlic prawn , spinach, mushroom or sweet chilli chicken).

Main meals include sliced chicken or lamb plate, grilled chicken or lamb skewers, Turkish meatballs or lamb cutlet (all served with rice, salad and roast vegetables) and there's also a choice of traditional kebab rolls (lamb, zucchini, falafel, chicken or mixed vegetarian).

Good to know - There are banquets available (min 2 people) but bring an appetite - they are copious. The owner is super friendly and treats everyone like guests in his home.

Need to know - 7 Turkish Bites is BYO. There is limited street parking on Park Road. Milton train station is 100m walk away and Milton Ferry Terminal approx 300m walk away.
